At the Dinner following the Annual General Meeting in 2015, the Old Johnians’ Association was asked
whether we could assist with the organisation of a reunion for Old Johnians of a certain vintage located in North Queensland. Sounds great, right!
Sadly, we couldn’t! Not through lack of interest but simply because we did not have a central database of contact information that would enable us to facilitate the request.
It was one of many defining moments that spurred OJA and the Foundation on to collaboratively develop a comprehensive member database, in addition to a quality communication platform, that will enable us to keep you better informed of relevant events, news and opportunities.
It will also allow the Old Johnians’ Association to commence the development of some long-desired mentoring and work experience programs that will be delivered in conjunction with the College and the Foundation. Stay tuned for more on this in coming months…
While we are excited by the new communications platform, we have lost touch with many Old Johnians who may have changed their contact details and we seek your assistance in reconnecting with these members. Please feel free to pass this email on to your own Johnian contacts.

Annual General Meeting & Dinner – Friday 22 July 2016
Please be sure to put the AGM in your diary now! Last year’s event was a sell out with alumni and their partners having a great night.
This year’s event will double as the 10, 20 and 50 Year Reunions for the freshers of 2006, 1996 and 1966 respectively.
