About The Awards
How To Apply
- A recipient must be a full-time student at The University of Queensland
- A recipient must demonstrate academic excellence and been accepted into an honours program or be in the final year of an honours program at The University of Queensland
- The award may be made to an applicant on an honours track provided she/he has successfully completed two years of undergraduate study with a high GPA
- A recipient must be in residence at St John’s College for the academic year in which the award is received
- A recipient must remain a full time student for the year in which the scholarship is made and make satisfactory progress towards the completion of her/his honours/final year program
- A recipient must contribute the balance of the College fees
- This award is offered annually
- A recipient must demonstrate academic excellence
- The award may be made to an application on an honours track provided she/he has successfully completed two years of undergraduate study with a high GPA
- The amount of the Major award is currently $4,300
- It is offered as remission of College fees over two semesters of one academic year
- The recipient may be offered free mid-year vacation residence during the final honours year
- More than one scholarship may be offered in any year
- The award is for a period of one academic year only
Application is not required for this award. Recipients are offered the award on the basis of their previous years’ academic results. (Normally for students at College in the previous year.)
